Our History
Law Office Of Darin B. Wizenberg is the product of Darin Wizenberg, the principal of the firm. His unique style of aggressive and passionate advocacy has earned him a reputation for trying and winning cases few attorneys would even touch. Mr. Wizenberg has litigated dozens of trials to verdict, with a distinguished acquittal rate. To date, he has won every jury trial he has taken on.
After graduating law school with numerous honors, Mr. Wizenberg practiced white-collar criminal defense at one of the nation's preeminent criminal defense law firms. Seeking to grow as a courtroom advocate, Mr. Wizenberg later joined the Criminal Defense Division of The Legal Aid Society of New York. There, he represented thousands of criminal defendants and continued to prove his reputation for aggressive and passionate advocacy no matter how difficult the case. Mr. Wizenberg founded Law Office Of Darin B. Wizenberg to continue and further develop his unique style and brand of aggressive advocacy with all counsel litigating his criminal defense and civil rights matters.
Mr. Wizenberg often donates his time and services for pro bono legal work and other volunteer activities. Past projects include appearing as a guest judge for the Prince Evidence Competition at Brooklyn Law School, volunteering at Mother Teresa's Home for the Destitute and Dying in Kolkata, India, acting as Chief Legal Advisor for The Amir Nijar Scholastic and Orphanage Institute in Kolkata, India and serving as a panelist for the televised Harvard Law Debate Series addressing ethics and the law.
